Replace original garage doors with sliding glass doors - allowing the sunshine in!

The original doors to the old garage were disintegrating! Years of weather had taken a toll...

We debated whether to replace them with French doors or sliding glass doors. While we both liked the look of French doors, we couldn't make them work within our budget. So we found a used set of sliding glass door, in perfect condition, for $100.

The hardest part was re-configuring the opening and building the new door frame. But the sliding glass door assembly fit the new frame like a glove! It was a perfect fit!

Now we needed to re-work the siding on the front facade.
