How we built our sun deck....

Having decided where we wanted the deck to go we had to clear the area of the gravel that was there, lift the membrane and then level the ground.

Paul (husband) and Lee (Neighbour) did all the carpentry.

And I did the gardening andlandscaping

I love the paver to wood to gravel transition... it reminds me of a Japanese rock garden. Great Job!

Thanks Mike. It's very much 'my' garden. I come from Devon (UK) origi nally so i have tried to bring the sea and the moors into my space.

Dave P...sorry its been so long..No we are gonna leave it natural. I like the way wood weathers on its own.
