Making the board

So, basically, it was all just a matter of finding a good sized piece of cardboard, some different materials, and stapling them all together.
Of course, folding the edges of the materials help them to look clean, and you have to press quite hard to get the staple to go all the way through.
Step 1: Cardboard!
Step 2: Choose materials, decide where they'll go.
Step 3: Staple them on, making sure to fold under the sides and make the staples go all the way through. Do this by wrapping the material over the edges of the cardboard.
Step 4: Do the same with the back. (I just did the back in one color) Also, rather than wrapping it over the cardboard, just fold it so the extra goes between the material and the cardboard.
Step 5: Find inspiration! I just printed a few pictures to get my friend started. I think kitten pictures are a must though. [=

A straightforward project, but with very cool results! And you seemed to choose a very interesting and varied set of inspiration pictures ;)

About how long did it take to do the project?

This project only took me like 30 minutes at most, but that included getting the pictures and printing them. So I'd say maybe 15 to 20 minutes.
