how to clean faded vinyl shudders

I live in a condo that has faded dark green vinyl shudders -- is it possible to clean or renew them?

If the shutters are faded, cleaning probably won't make much difference. You could prime and paint them... otherwise this Shutter ReNu product sounds promising (I've never tried it though).

I know that you can paint vinyl with proper preparation (cleaning, priming, etc.) but I can't say how durable that option might be.
Is it possible the shutters are under warranty? Maybe you can have them replaced?
