Salvaged Windows, Two Ways

Monica from CraftyNest has two great ideas for repurposing salvaged windows:

Wallpaper Frames

In the first project, she takes free wallpaper samples (trimmed to the size of the window panes) and uses spray adhesive to adhere the samples to some cardboard backing. After taping everything in place and attaching mounting hardware, she's ready to hang and admire her thrifty DIY artwork.

It's a really cool idea that would work well with any decorative paper, poster, or even a blown up photograph.

Mirror Frames

The second project is completed much the same as the first. This time, small mirrors (custom cut to the dimensions of the window panes) are set in the openings and cardboard is used to back the mirrors. Then it's just tape, hang, and done!

These are both killer uses of discarded windows... and I'm sure there are plenty of other ways to repurpose windows like these. What are some of your favorite ways to utilize salvaged windows?
