Something to Consider Before Painting Woodwork

If you ever have a hankering to paint your home's beautiful woodwork, remember this.
Just a Girl and Her 1911 Craftsman Bungalow took it upon herself to uncover, strip, repair, and refinish the woodwork in her vintage bungalow - baseboards, wainscoting, built-ins, and all.
As is the case with any remodel in an older home, she had her fair share of challenges. Removing the 1960's faux wood paneling, stripping the wallpaper beneath, scraping through layer upon layer of paint, electrical problems, 24 hour HGTV remodeling shows... all managed to stall her progress.
Fortunately she persevered, and the results are absolutely stunning! Read more about the project here (If you have the time, read about the undertaking from the beginning).
I'm so impressed that she was able to see the project through to the end, even as surprise after surprise kept popping up.
It almost makes me want to finish my incomplete projects... almost.
